About

Laurie grew up in the south west of England, devouring books and exploring imaginary worlds with their twin sister. Now, Laurie channels their love for all things fantastic into their writing. They have a particular fondness for fantasy and horror, diverse characters in lead roles, and animals both real and imagined.Alongside their middle grade novels, they write short fiction across a variety of genres, from fantasy to horror. Some, like Changelings: An Autistic Trans Anthology, are aimed at a younger audience, while stories such as The Holly Tree are intended for older readers.They are represented by Joyce Sweeney at the Seymour Literary Agency.
